Quality First Support Group believes strongly in giving back to the communities we serve. Through sponsorships, community partnerships, and scholarship opportunities, QFSG supports individuals who demonstrate passion, dedication, and a commitment to making a positive difference. As a for-profit organization, Quality First Support Group is committed to strengthening the communities we serve through meaningful engagement and responsible community investment. While QFSG directly sponsors community initiatives, charitable donations and scholarship funding are administered through our sister nonprofit organization, C.W. Scholars.
This partnership allows community members, businesses, and supporters to contribute to programs that expand access to education, mentorship, life coaching, career development, and leadership opportunities, particularly for individuals from underserved communities.
One initiative supported through this partnership is the Vincent Velasquez Scholarship, created in honor of Vincent Velasquez. Vincent Velasquez was a young man whose life reflected service, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others. He proudly served in the United States Navy, demonstrating his dedication to protecting and supporting his country. After completing his military service, Vincent trained to become a barber, a profession that allowed him to connect with members of his community and uplift others in meaningful ways.
Before his passing due to a senseless act of violence, Vincent had also begun exploring another path of service: becoming a firefighter. His interests reflected the type of person he was: someone who consistently sought opportunities to protect, support, and care for others.
Vincent’s life was defined by service, and his legacy continues through the Vincent Velasquez Scholarship, which supports individuals who share his passion for helping others and making a positive impact in their communities.
The Vincent Velasquez Scholarship, established by Quality First Support Group and supported through C.W. Scholars, provides financial assistance to students pursuing careers in service to their communities, with priority given to individuals from underserved or underrepresented backgrounds.
Service-oriented careers may include fields such as:
• Public safety (firefighting, law enforcement, emergency services)
• Military service
• Healthcare and human services
• Education or social work
• Community leadership and public service professions
Each year, a qualified candidate will be selected to receive financial support to help cover costs associated with education, training, certification, or professional equipment needed to pursue a service-oriented career.
The Vincent Velasquez Scholarship will award up to $10,000 annually to one selected candidate. Award amounts may vary each year and may range between $1,000 and $10,000, depending on available funding and program needs.
Quality First Support Group reserves the right to award multiple smaller scholarships in a given year, depending on available funding and the number of qualified applicants.
Scholarship funds may be used for expenses related to education or career training, including:
• Tuition or training program costs

Funds may be paid directly to the educational institution, training provider, or approved vendor when applicable.
Applicants must:
